New Orleans Saints fans need no tips on how to party! You know good food, you have good friends, and nobody needs to pump you up for excitement this year! My main advice for you: keep it safe, drink in moderation, don't drink and drive. And that means be prepared to take care of guests who can't drive. If you're doing cake, King Cakes are available; Gambino's even has a Saints King Cake, and they do ship. There's also a 3-D football cake pan at The Party Works. Colts fans, well, I'm sure you know how to party, too. You may like the horseshoe cake pan at The Party Works if you're doing a cake. There's a horseshoe cookie cutter and some horseshoe candy molds in our Amazon shop. Other than that, your usual game day fare will be fine.
Entertainment ideas:
- Obviously the main entertainment is the game itself, on as big a screen as possible.
- A door prize for whoever comes closest to guessing the final score.
- Limbo with a home-made goal post.
- Best touchdown dance.
- If there are kids: nerf football, printable football-theme coloring pages, pompoms for a chearing the team on.
- Saints fans with a computer and speakers handy could play some of the songs found on the New Orleans Saints tribute songs playlist.
Decorating Ideas:
- Make giant pompoms out of team color crepe streamers.
- Fleur de lis guest towels for the bathroom counter - or use them as man-sized napkins! (Sorry Colts fans, I couldn't find horseshoe guest towels.)
- Include team colors in every way you can: use colored sheets for sofa covers; if you have a team throw blanket hang it on the wall, and of course, team color balloons and streamers.
