Star Templates
These are the star templates for a Hollywood Party. (Also good for a High School Musical Party or a Hannah Montana Party.)

The templates are in Adobe PDF format. You will need Adobe Reader (free download) to view and print them. When you tell the pages to print, make sure the boxes for "Shrink oversized pages to paper size" and "Expand small pages to paper size" are unchecked, or the images may be larger or smaller than intended. (example)
Instructions:
Print on card stock or regular paper (if regular paper, glue template to cardboard). Cut out the stars, and trace them on white poster board. Cut out the various size stars from the poster board, decorate with colored pens, aluminum foil, glue and glitter, etc.
Attach a length of white thread* to each star using tape. Use a small piece of tape to attach the other end of each thread to the ceiling. Use different lengths of thread, and group the stars in one area of the room for more impact. 30 to 50 stars make a nice effect. (If using glitter, we recommend you do NOT hang them over the food table!)
* Make the treads about 8 to 12 inches long. If you have very high ceilings, make the threads longer and space the stars far enough apart that they won't get tangled.
