Make a Glitzy 'Chandelier'

Making a Glitzy 'Chandelier'
for your Hollywood or Academy Awards theme party is simple and inexpensive.
Get strings of clear acrylic beads, or string some up yourself. If you find an inexpensive door curtain, with beads fused to the strands, you can trim it to the length you want, attach the top border to the inside of a metal or plastic band, and attach it to the ceiling.
Make the circle wide enough so the beads don't touch your existing ceiling light fixture - be safe and keep them 2-3 inches away.
You can either purchase a light-weight plastic or metal hoop and tie the strings of beads to that, then attach it to the ceiling, or use clear acrylic push pins to attach each strand directly to the ceiling. Make a paper template so you space the strands evenly around the light.
And voila! You've got Hollywood glam on the cheap!
